Little Women (K-Drama) Netflix review

I understand that you may be wondering about the title ‘Little Women.’ To answer that question, one must explore the content firsthand. While browsing through Netflix, a Korean drama by that name was suggested to me. Initially, I was intrigued by the title, and upon viewing the trailer, I discovered that the storyline revolved around a mystery encompassing a substantial sum of money, millions of dollars, and the intricate lives of three sisters.

The plot is laden with unexpected twists and turns that took me by surprise. One of the sisters is employed in an office, another is a journalist, and the youngest aspires to be a painter. The narrative centers on these three individuals and their interactions with another family, led by a father with political aspirations to become the mayor and eventually the President of Korea. The intricate connections among these characters make for a captivating story.

I wholeheartedly recommend this show, although I am cautious not to reveal too much and spoil the surprises it holds. What I found particularly commendable about the series was the exceptional acting. The actors’ portrayal of the antagonists is so convincing that you genuinely disapprove of them. Moreover, the sisters’ depiction as individuals struggling with poverty is remarkably authentic.

The performances are truly phenomenal, and the storyline keeps you engaged and eagerly anticipating each episode, which, I should note, is over an hour long. In an era where many shows offer shorter episodes, this series demands your full attention.

I felt a profound empathy for the sisters and their family, as the narrative traces their hardships from the very beginning. Every seemingly insignificant detail is meticulously woven into the plot, bearing significance in the overall story. Thus, I wholeheartedly recommend this series. It is an exceptionally well-crafted and engaging show that I found thoroughly enjoyable.

  1. With great acting and some intrigue and twists and turns, it sounds like a really enjoyable show to get into. I don’t currently have Netflix, but I will add it to my list of things to catch when I get it again. Thanks for the recommendation!
