Headphones thoughts here in San Diego for San Diego International Comic-Con 2024. I’m so thankful to be here again. I just want to say thank you guys so much for your support. Please follow my blog and my social media for updates on which panels and experiences I get to go to. I’ll try to update the blog with everything as much as I can throughout the convention. I just posted my “Traveling to San Diego” video—check it out now on YouTube. And again, thank you guys so much! Keep following me for updates, and I look forward to attending the con this year.
On Wednesday preview night of Comic-Con 2024, I visited the Comic-Con Museum in Balboa Park, San Diego, and was astonished by its layout and exhibits. The third level featured stunning comic book artwork from global artists, while the main level showcased a beautifully centered Todd McFarlane-signed Batman statue. An exhibit about Mars and NASA’s plans for the first woman on Mars was particularly fascinating.
The third floor had a Betty Boop exhibit with her artwork and history, along with cartoons for visitors to watch. I learned from a staff member that the museum changes its exhibits every six months to a year, ensuring a fresh experience with each visit. I spent two hours there and felt I could have stayed longer. I highly recommend the San Diego Comic-Con Museum to anyone attending Comic-Con or visiting California.
Today is the first day of Comic-Con, and I have to say I definitely enjoyed it. What made it so great was seeing Experiences come to life. Although things were not put together for the preview day, I got to check out Abbott Elementary. Overall, I thought it was a great experience with fun activities that you can definitely bring your kids to. You get a free hat or bag (though not both), and some free candy, which I thought was really cool. The haunted experience was very positive, nice, and light-hearted.
I also checked out the Percy Jackson panel, which provided a great recap of season one and what to look forward to in season two. Last night, I got to see the whole universe fashion show, and I definitely enjoyed my time there. It was great seeing all the contestants. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.
I had a great time today, Friday, at Comic-Con. I was able to go to Hall H to see the “Rings of Power” and the “Boys” panel. I also got to see the “Collider Directors on Directors” panel. I walked around and noticed there was already a line for Hall H on Saturday for Marvel. I look forward to that panel, and honestly, I had a great time.
I had a great time at the Marvel panel on Saturday, as well as at the Superman and Lois preview. With some other panels in between, I had a pretty good day and really enjoyed myself.
