Netflix recently released a documentary purely about Georgina Rodríguez. Every time I was on Netflix I saw the ad for this show coming up. At first, I just skipped over the ad and just was not interested. When the documentary finally premiered, I watched the full trailer and realized that Georgina Rodríguez is the girlfriend of famous soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo. The first episode explains how they met and how both Cristiano and Georgina feel about the relationship and how the world views them. They met when she was working at Gucci (I laughed because I had just watched the movie House of Gucci recently…Let me know if you guys want a House of Gucci movie review from me?). It was interesting to see how a normal girl feels about dating such a famous person. I could only imagine all the gossip, lies, and rumors spread about her daily. Watching her speak and be so confident was admiring. Not everyone could handle that media pressure.
Some of the highlights of the show for me:
Their is an episode dedicated to her roots. Gio shows you where she grew up and what are her passion and interest.
Her children are important to her. She shows that you can be a mom and be business woman. She showed her children but also kept things private out of protection for the children.
She supports Cristiano but also is her person. She loves per partner but this show makes it clear she is not just his partner she has her job, friends, life.
Her charity work. She defiantly loves helping people. There is one whole episode showing how much charity work she does.
Gio is judged by the world and yes she did brag about her wealth and show how rich she is because she is dating him. Yes, at times it did get annoying but at the end of the day that is the life she is living and she is showing her life. I also liked how they showed she eat, I feel like some people in per position would not want to show what they eat but she did. Overall, I like the show more than I would ever watch a Keep Up with the Kardashians episode. I feel like because she grew up in a humble beginning she still remembers where she came from and is different then other people in her position.
Did you know Georgina? Would you watch the show?

This isn’t something I’d choose to watch but it sounds like the documentary was done well. I’m definitely down for you doing a review of House of Gucci as I haven’t seen it yet and would appreciate the read up about it before I do!
Nice.I secretly love reality tv but not of super famous people so I need to check this show out.
I would never have seen this but after reading the review I am curious so will have a look… I would also love a review of House of Gucci. Ironic about their meeting or maybe just serendipity for you. Great review!!!
I didn’t know who she was either. Thanks for sharing. I will check it out.
I haven’t heard of this show/documentary before but it sounds interesting – especially given her roots. Thanks for sharing.
I barely watch Netflix. Yet they raised my monthly fee for the 4th time. I am Georgina is not my kind of movie, I will check it. Maybe the trailer may spark an interest. Thanks for sharing your feedback and review.
