National Treasure: Edge of History Review

I was skeptical about this show when I first heard about it because the original cast would not be returning. The first teaser trailer barely gave any information about what the show would be about. I have to say that because I have a fond memory of being little and going to see these movies in the theater, I was curious about the show. Plus most of the Disney Plus shows I have been enjoying way more than Netflix delivers personally.

My thoughts:

This show can feel a little like fan fiction of the OG National Treasure but if you’re looking to watch a show that is funny, mysterious, and has a pretty decent plot this show is for you. I personally did not like the romance in the show it felt forced and kind of cheesy. I did like the mystery. If you have not seen National Treasure you might be thinking why are certain things happening in the show but if you have seen them and like me saw them multiple times you get why they added certain elements into the show. Personally. I liked the show and hope for a second season. The characters were likable and I liked how they had a black woman who was smart but did not look super nerdy and weird like how a lot of the Netflix shows portray the Black Nerdy girl.

Overall, I would give the show a 6 out of 10, and hopefully, we get to see more of the OG characters in the show.

Which movie did you like better National Treasure 1 or 2?
