Blogger Collaboration: 3 Things I Love About The Holidays

I am honored to be collaborating with these fabulous bloggers. Please check out and read each blogger’s blog post on What We Love about the Holidays. Please see their blog post at the bottom. A huge thank you and shoutout to Pastor Natalie from the blog Examine this Moment for organizing and setting up this collaboration. I am thankful to each blogger for their support.

I do love the holidays and for me, my favorite holiday is New Year. I love the idea of starting a new year and leaving the past in the past. It just feels always so special to me. I love getting to start a new year with new dreams and new opportunities. I am always so hopeful for each year.

Food

I have to start with Thanksgiving. I love Thanksgiving for first a good reminder to always be thankful, to spend time with my family and friends, and the food. I love food. I am someone who loves getting to spend time with my family. I love getting to eat my mom’s cooking. Thank you, mom! You rock! I always love getting to each a special Christmas dinner with my family. Now on New Year I usually have my favorite dessert right before entering in the New Year. Food for me is one of my favorite things about the holidays.

Theme Parks

Yes, I love getting to go to theme parks around the holidays. I currently live in the state of Florida and I have been to Sea World, Universal Studios, and Disney around the holidays and a few times on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. I love theme parks around the holidays. With all of the decorations, shows, and just getting to spend time with my family.

Sleep

I am someone who loves my sleep. During the holidays is a time that I get to take off from work, and when I was in college it was a nice break from schoolwork. I am thankful to be down with my degree. Sleep means a lot to me. I love napping and getting my rest. During the holidays is a time I get to nap and sleep in. I sleep in now as an adult on Christmas morning and New Years’ day.

  1. I’ve never been to theme parks during Christmas or New Years, but I bet it’s so beautiful! And everyone loves food and sleep! Love this πŸ™ŒπŸ½

  2. Sleep is definitely one of my favourite things during the holidays! And of course food is great too. I loved collaborating with you πŸ™‚

  3. What a lovely idea for a collaboration! It’s fun to find out what other people enjoy about the holidays as I find myself nodding along with what is celebrated. I love the food and also just the ability to have a lovely day doing things I like at a slower, less rushed pace (walks, movies, baking, etc). Great post!

  4. So much fun. Loved reading what you enjoy during the holidays. πŸ€—πŸŽ„πŸŽ I agree getting extra rest is always a gift especially during the holidays. Food and family time are my favorites too. I really enjoyed collabrating with each one. Enjoyed your post. πŸ₯°
