I have seen many people in my life trying to do something purely with the purpose of fame and being in a leadership position in life. This could have been in school, church, volunteering, work, etc. I know for myself that this passion that these people have to become famous usually dies out. If they don’t become famous online or in-person in the quest for what they wanted they usually give up. I know for myself I did not start blogging to become famous. I have no desire to become famous. I simply blog because it’s something I enjoy and I hope others just enjoy my blog post. I mainly blog as a way to express myself and just simply write about how I feel think and perceive things. It does sadden me to see someone just want the praises of others. Yes, it is nice to have people acknowledge you but don’t do something just become famous. If fame happens okay cool but do something because you’re actually passionate about it.
A great way to find out what you are passionate about is to make a list of your interests. You can then narrow things down based on how passionate you are about them. It doesn’t matter if it is a creative pursuit or a sport, be adventurous and pursue it. Just be sure to protect yourself if it’s a sport. For example, you may need to buy ski bindings or helmets. Just make sure you do what is needed to stay safe while having fun and finding your passion.
I remember when someone I knew simply just joined a choir with the idea of becoming a famous singer. They didn’t really practice singing and did not really want to be a good singer and want to learn much about the music identity they mainly used their charms and looks to try to become popular. Well as you guessed they did not become famous and ended up just being a volunteer in the children’s ministry. When I think back on this I think about how if they would have gone into it with the right heart and mind they really could have become something. Just try to think why are you doing something why are you investing your time and energy into anything. If it truly is just for fame and attention I don’t believe this is the right way to do something.

I think some people seek praise but it is better just to do things to impress yourself.
Such a wonderful post! I so agree with you when you do something with pure passion, you will genuinely appreciate it more. When it comes to fame… you can feel good when you are doing good and gaining praise. You can easily get caught up with the praises and approval of others. But if you lose any fame… praise or approval or even followers… it can impact you in a negative way. I really appreciate your blog. 😊
