MILK MAKEUP – KUSH Waterproof Mascara Review featured on Justforthehillofit.com

I am honored to be featured on Twill Hills blog Justforthehillofit.com. You can see my guest blog post below and on her blog.

As a makeup lover, I have always enjoyed getting to try new makeup products. Personally, for me, I had never tried any Milk Makeup Products. I was aware of Milk Makeup but just never got around to purchasing anything.

My eyes are very watery and sometimes I find it difficult to wear makeup. There have been few mascaras that really stayed on my eyes and I actually liked the product.

While shopping in a local Sephora, not sure which mascara would work for me, I knew I needed to ask one of the store workers. The lady was kind when I explained about my watery eyes and she suggested the Milk Makeup KUSH Waterproof Mascara. Without hesitation, I purchased the product.

Pros:

What I liked about the product is first, it made my eyelashes look amazing. I love mascara that makes your eyelashes look like your wearing false eyelashes. Also, the mascara stayed on for about a good 4-7 hours when I had it on. I tried this product during the warm summer and during the cool winter. Both times the mascara stayed on.

Cons:

Due to it being waterproof makeup, this makes it difficult to get off. Good thing is my oil-based makeup remover was able to remove the mascara. In addition, my eyelashes felt a little heavy when wearing the mascara but maybe that was because I put three to four coats of it on my eyelashes. Also, when removing the mascara, I had to always be careful to not take out my own eyelashes as it was difficult to remove.

Overall, for me who has watery eyes, I really liked the mascara. I loved the way it made my eyes look. I would purchase again but maybe not right now.

      1. I haven’t tried kush mascara though it is in my wishlist. I’ve heard of another one or two even better than this but since I haven’t tried any so can’t tell. But great you liked it. Nothing better than a mascara that gives the look of false lashes. This is my demand from a mascara too. Thanks for sharing xx

  1. Thank you for this useful product review! Will come back to this when I switch to waterproof in the future.

  2. I am not a fan of mascara cuz it would always get smudgy on me and it explained the watery eyes. BUT seeing your review, I may have to give this a try! Thank you for sharing x

  3. I’ve never tried Milk Makeup before, but this sounds amazing! Love that it doesn’t appear to run or fall off during the day!

  4. I haven’t tried anything from Milk Makeup before, but their mascara does sound nice! I also haven’t used waterproof mascara, but I’ve heard that it can be a pain trying to remove it.

  5. Mascara is one of my favourite makeup product even if I don’t use it a lot. I’ve never bought Milk Makeup but I can give it a try even if I don’t have watery eyes. Nice review!

  6. Thanks for this post, I’ve tried milk products before but without it impressing me much – this post has me reconsidering as I’ve never tried their mascara and it sounds worth a try! Great post!
