I attended Rock the Universe this year, an annual Christian music festival held at Universal Studios Orlando. The event spans two nights, from 4 PM to 1 AM, with an additional Sunday service at 10 AM. With multiple stages featuring Christian artists, including rappers, country singers, and DJs, the concert offers a diverse musical experience.
Growing up in a strong Christian family, I always knew about Rock the Universe but could only attend as an adult due to financial constraints. Despite attending mostly on Fridays, the event’s atmosphere, featuring meet-and-greets, open food places, and exclusive access to the rides, made it enjoyable. This year, thanks to a family member’s generosity, I experienced both Friday and Saturday, gaining access to both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, including early park entry and access to Volcano Bay.
While initially skeptical about the water park due to Florida’s cooler weather, I focused on the theme parks and appreciated the limited crowd, allowing for shorter ride wait times. The diverse attendance, including various Christian denominations, added to the vibrant atmosphere. Despite the extended hours, restaurants remained open, catering to hunger during the event.
Personally, I found the event spiritually fulfilling and look forward to attending again next year. Feel free to enjoy the pictures and videos I’m sharing of my time at this fantastic Rock the Universe event.
