This show is so much better than I expected! Unfortunately, as many of us know, DC hasn’t had the best track record with their movies, but their animation is consistently amazing. This show is honestly better than the live-action ones. Season one was already enjoyable, but season two just knocked it out of the park.
So, without further ado, let me give you a quick preview. The show, called My Adventures with Superman, centers around Lois Lane and her romantic journey with Clark Kent, a.k.a. Superman. At the end of the first season, she finds out that he is Superman. The story follows them as interns trying to become full-time staff at the Daily Planet while building their life together. Clark, who is also navigating his powers and family dynamics, adds complexity to their relationship.
In season two, this journey continues as Clark learns more about his powers. Unfortunately, we also get introduced to Amanda Waller and Lex Luthor, who believe Superman is a villain and are trying to create robots to take him down. Meanwhile, Supergirl has been searching for Superman and eventually finds him. But there’s a twist—Is she an ally or a villain? You’ll have to watch season two to find out!
Overall, the show is just so good! I love the animation, the storyline is straight to the point, and it’s cute and lovable. It features great storylines and well-written scripts. As I said, I would recommend watching season one before diving into season two to get the full plot, but it’s a really great show overall. I’m looking forward to seeing season three when it comes out!
