One Fast Move

So, I saw this movie on TikTok through some fan edits, and I got curious. I thought, “Okay, let me check this out.” The movie centers around the main character who, unfortunately, gets involved in an illegal street motorcycle race as part of a bet. The main character loses the race and is arrested, serving six months in jail.

Once he gets out, he goes to meet his father, but they don’t have a good relationship, so it’s an awkward situation. He approaches his dad because his father is a professional motorcycle racer, and the main character wants to go pro. He’s looking for something that will give him a sense of destiny, purpose, and worth, especially after the difficult experience he just went through.

In the town, he reconnects with an old high school friend, and they get involved. The movie shows how he builds his relationship with his dad, learns to overcome his troubled past, and discovers how to be true to himself.

Now, I have to say, the movie is very poorly executed. There are a lot of pacing issues, the acting is just okay, and the script is really not the best. They had an interesting plot, but unfortunately, it fell into certain flat stereotypes. Some parts of the script dragged, and certain things could’ve been written and executed much better. Overall, I definitely would not recommend this film. It’s just okay, I guess, but I wanted to give an honest review about what I didn’t really like about it.
