I’m so thankful to be invited as a member of the press to WonderCon 2024. Unfortunately, last minute, I was not able to make it due to a scheduling conflict. But thankfully, a few of the companies that invited me to opportunities, I let them know I couldn’t make it, and so they sent me an event recap. Please read the event recap and go ahead and check out these awesome things that happened at WonderCon 2024. STAR TREK at WonderCon 2024 – Event Recap
Star Trek was on the ground this weekend at WonderCon! On Friday, Paramount+ and CBS Studios hosted a Sing-Along for the first time. This included a screening of the “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” musical episode, “Subspace Rhapsody,” followed by a moderated Q&A with songwriters Tom Polce and Kay Hanley, also of Letters to Cleo fame, where they discussed writing the songs for Star Trek’s first ever musical episode.
Then on Saturday, fans were treated to an advance screening of the premiere episode of the final season of “Star Trek: Discovery.” Immediately following, a moderated Q&A with Michelle Paradise (EP/Co-Showrunner) and Olatunde Osunsanmi (EP/Director) took place in front of the crowded room where they discussed working on the exciting final season and teasing what’s to come in the upcoming episodes. One of the newest cast members of “Star Trek: Discovery” season 5, Elias Toufexis (L’ak), surprised fans by appearing in the audience at the screening.
Overall, the two-night spectacle was a great way to celebrate Star Trek with such loving fans of these two shows and of the entire franchise.

ABOUT “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds”
The series follows Captain Pike, Science Officer Spock, and Number One in the years before Captain Kirk boarded the U.S.S. Enterprise, as they explore new worlds around the galaxy. The show in currently in production on season 3 in Toronto and the first two seasons are available to stream on Paramount+.
ABOUT “Star Trek: Discovery”
The fifth and final season will find Captain Burnham and the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery uncovering a mystery that will send them on an epic adventure across the galaxy to find an ancient power whose very existence has been deliberately hidden for centuries. The final season premieres with two all new episodes on April 4, 2024 on Paramount+.

This past weekend at WonderCon 2024, Hasbro celebrated with fans revealing a wave of new products and announcements across fan-favorite brands such as TRANSFORMERS and G.I. JOE, along with premier collaboration brands including Star Wars™ and Marvel during their Action Brand Panel!
